  The town of
Wareham, sometimes called The Gateway to Cape Cod, is situated
near the Southwest entrance to the Cape Cod Canal on the mainland side.
Wareham contains several villages:
West Wareham, East Wareham, Onset,
Wareham (village), and the newly designated South Wareham.
Onset is well-known for its harbor, beautiful beaches
and waterfront estates, and for the summer activities and fun, festive
atmosphere of its village center. East Wareham has
several major retail stores, while West Wareham is
hosts the new Wareham Crossing shopping center. Wareham Village is home to Tobey Hospital and many medical offices. |
