 
The town of Falmouth forms the southwest corner of Cape Cod,
surrounded by the waters of Buzzards Bay on the west, Vineyard Sound
on the south, and by Waquoit Bay and Mashpee on the east.
In addition to numerous harbors, miles of coastline and
beautiful warm water beaches, Falmouth also has many freshwater ponds
and forest areas.

Falmouth consists of 8 official villages or districts:
Falmouth Center (Falmouth village),
East Falmouth, Hatchville, North Falmouth, Teaticket, Waquoit, West Falmouth,
and Woods Hole.
Some of the other well-known areas are:
Megansett, Sippewissett, Quissett, Falmouth Heights, Maravista,
Davisville, Menauhant, Silver Beach,
Old Silver Beach, Wild Harbor, Oyster Pond, and Surf Drive Beach, to name a few.
Falmouth is bordered on the north by
Bourne and
Sandwich, and on the east by
Mashpee.
